Litton Lakes

Litton lakes are part of Bristol Water's Fisheries. In the past they were reserved for the directors of the company. Now less 'elevated' mortals may fish there. Today was a Salmon and Trout Association day and so good company was an integral part of good fishing.
Litton is composed of two lakes, both tree lined and with the most delightful surroundings. The upper lake is deep and mostly clear. Fish can be seen cruising above the weed beds, and sight fishing is a real possibility. Because of its depth the fish tend to be around the edges. The lower lake is shallower and often becomes weedy and the water takes on colour. But it does have fish throughout the lake.
Booking Details
Booking can be for any number over two persons. Corporate packages can be arranged with tuition if required. For all details and up to the minute fishing information ring Woodford Lodge. The lakes are available throughout the year. The limit bag is five fish per person.
